An expanded cinema network with 9 locations
From 1 October 2026, Kulturpass holders will be able to go to the cinema for €3 at nine regional cinemas across the country. Until now, five cinemas offered screenings at the Kulturpass rate of €1.50. The new €3 rate takes into account the specific costs and conditions related to film distribution.
This development makes it possible to significantly expand the network of partner cinemas and offer more local access to cinema in different regions of Luxembourg.
The €3 Kulturpass rate will be available at the following cinemas:
- CineKursaal – Rumelange
- CineSura – Echternach
- CineWaasserhaus – Mondorf-les-Bains
- Ciné Le Paris – Bettembourg
- Ciné Orion – Troisvierges
- Ciné Prabbeli – Wiltz
- Ciné Starlight – Dudelange
- Kinoler – Kahler
- Kulturhuef Kino – Grevenmacher
The Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg will remain accessible at the Kulturpass rate of €1.50.
We would like to warmly thank all our partner cinemas for their commitment and their efforts to make this offer accessible to Kulturpass holders throughout Luxembourg.
Going to the cinema means experiencing emotions, discovering new stories and sharing a moment with others. Cultur’all wants to enable everyone to take part in cultural life close to home and to strengthen this sense of belonging: #dozougehéieren.

Cinema Paradiso – Cinémathèque
Luxembourg-City
Every Weekend
Cinema for children
With its Cinema Paradiso programme, the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg invites young audiences to discover cinema from an early age. Every Sunday, a varied programme suitable for children aged 3 to 11 offers screenings specially designed for little ones and young film lovers, as well as animated films to discover or rediscover and great cinema classics to enjoy as a family.
Designed as a first encounter with the big screen, Cinema Paradiso helps children develop their curiosity, imagination and love of cinema in a welcoming, family-friendly setting. The programme highlights a wide variety of worlds, stories and animation techniques, while giving a special place to works that have marked the history of children’s cinema.
To guide young audiences in their discovery, each screening is preceded by a short introduction to the film. This moment presents the film, its universe and a few elements that can help children enjoy it more fully.
In addition to the official age classification*, the Cinémathèque’s educational team provides a specific recommendation. This indicates the age at which each work can be enjoyed most fully, taking into account its content, length, complexity and the sensitivity of young viewers.
Cinema Paradiso is a great opportunity to share a cinema experience as a family, pass on the joy of discovery and help younger audiences develop a taste for stories told on the big screen.
With the Kulturpass for €1.50
