Mitsu was born from the waves. For love, she followed a sailor to the island of the Iliens, a people who fear the ocean as much as those who come from it. Two children were born from their union, Ame and San. But when love dissolved into tears, Mitsu found herself alone, a stranger in a land that only half accepted her.

Every night, she watches over her children and faces invisible monsters: the letterbox, messenger of bad omens, or the washing machine, ogre of passing time…

CinEast 2025 (10–26 October) returns for its 18th edition with more than 65 feature films and 50 short films from over 20 countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

Screenings will take place in several venues in Luxembourg (Cercle Cité, Ciné Utopia, Kinepolis Kirchberg, Neimënster, Ancien Cinéma Vianden, etc.) as well as online.
This edition honours Poland, with dedicated films, concerts, guests and exhibitions.

From 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., the 24th Museum Night opens its doors with concerts, guided tours, workshops and surprises in the seven museums of Luxembourg City.

A creative event not to be missed!

On Sunday 12 October 2025, the 1535° Creative Hub in Differdange is organising Creative Day, a whole day dedicated to creativity in all its forms. This former industrial site, now transformed into a venue for artists and cultural entrepreneurs, will open its doors to the public.
From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., everyone will be able to participate in workshops, attend concerts, explore interactive installations and meet the creative minds of the 1535° Creative Hub.
Young and old alike will find a unique opportunity to see, try, learn and be inspired.

With their interpretation of these legendary hits, Serge Schonckert and the Luxembourg Jazz Orchestra offer a vibrant rediscovery of the world of Freddie Mercury & Co., combining swing, elegance and virtuosity.

‘The Circus is Here’ is a visual and poetic show, carried by the inventive music of Pascal Ayerbe, who transforms toys and objects into amazing instruments.

A tender and joyful moment for children… and for adults who are still a little bit childlike.
